We have used the openEHR Specifications for many years and they have helped us create a clean and scalable backend based on internationally embraced standards. We applaud the way the Specifications have been developed by both clinicians and developers, truly providing the best of both worlds. The market is clamouring for a solution to allow for a separation between data and application – we firmly believe openEHR is that solution.
What is the process to get started with Cadasto?
You have the option to request a trial first. However, if you would like to discuss your particular use case first or want a quote, do get in touch with us. One of our Value Added Resellers will get in touch with you a.s.a.p. Cadasto itself does not do direct sales – all of our business is conducted through Value Added Resellers. If you have a preference for a specific VAR, do state so when you submit your contact form.

Why did Cadasto decide to use the openEHR Demographic Model?
When you store more data according to the openEHR specifications, you can work from a single source to a larger extent and there is less need for mapping and copying data in order to share it. Also, openEHR is very well suited to store the history of patient demographics, due to the versioning mechanism available for all openEHR persisted data. With alternative setups, older demographic data is often lacking (such as an old address, or older care relations). Having this data available is valuable for both research and prevention.
